I am very much in love with my Ichigo Heaven. Her bangs were very neat and straight when I removed her from the box, BUT Takara shouldn't have cut them so far back to the ears. It's very weird. The amount of hair is also just right. Not to mention the color is perfect. :)
The wonky eye isn't so bad. I hardly notice it in person. Her stock clothes are rather tacky though. I like the oven mitt, the mary janes, and the cake. That's about it.
She doesn't have a name. I have a couple ideas in mind, but neither of them seem right for now. Hmmm.
I'm posting this all over the place because I love Gema's hats so much. And my girls look super cute. :)
Brian's spending the next few days in Tampa for some work thingie. He wanted me to go with him, but I unfortunately have exams tomorrow. I have one in the afternoon and another at 6PM. Then I have a bunch of final essays due Wednesday. And then two more on Thursday. I'm so busy, but I keep reminding myself that this is the last week and sleep will come soon after that!
I should probably get to writing. Blargh. I hate writing essays. I'd much rather take exams instead!
Luke finally saw some gators today. It was the last thing she needed to do before she heads back home to Norway in the next week or so. I will miss her! I wish she could stay forever. I think she enjoys the warm weather. It was 83 degrees today. :)
The gator in the below picture was about 6 feet long. He wasn't terribly big at all. It's incredibly difficult to get a decent picture of the Blythes with alligators because you can't get too close to them. They usually swim away because humans scare them.
Brian lured this guy to the bank by throwing little stones in front of him in the water. He wasn't afraid of us, which is not something you want to see with alligators (unless you are trying to get a picture of one with a Blythe).
He was about 10 feet away from us. They are faster than they look, and they can jump pretty high. Brian was kneeling down in front of me ready to throw a giant rock on his head in case he tried anything funny.
I wish I could get closer, but a 6 foot gator is big enough to maul me. No thank you!
Oh yeah, the gator is the blackish lump between the grass blades. There are other pictures in my Flickr, but I'm too lazy to link there.
Yikes! I don't know how anybody can really enjoy mohair! Unless maybe it's that straight kind that you can style. Annelise's hair is a giant, tangly mess. I really love how it looks though.
She's wearing her new Squeaky Tee. I went with white on white so it would sort of look like "icy bones." I like it. She also felt a little more at home this week. The past few days have been COLD, but it's starting to warm up again. I wish it would stay cool.
Thankgiving was okay. Cranberry sauce is always the best part of Thanksgiving! Stuffing, too, I guess. Other than that, I really don't like Thanksgiving much.
I really love the new Star Dancer Blythe. Normally I don't care too much for blondes, but she's lovely. I kind of want her, but I can't afford her right now thanks to Christmas. I don't think there will be any Blythes for me under the tree this year either. It saddens me a bit, but then I think about what I'm getting from my parents (my mom can't keep a secret) and feel a lot better. :)
She's so different from Ludivine. I made her a dress today. It still needs snaps (I hate very much sewing snaps). I got the Fashion Fever bed last week for a school project. Now the project's done, so the girls get to keep it, of course. :)
Frankenstein wants to wish everybody on LJ a happy Halloween! Unfortunately, I will be in classes all day and most of the evening, too. I would skip my night class, but I have a project due. Bastards!
I haven't updated my LJ in a while, so here's a picture of Luke on the tea cups at Magic Kingdom. We had a Blythe Meet on Monday. It was fun, but the tea cups made me so sick. I'll never ride them again!

Luke sunbathed, played in the sand, and dug for shells. She found a fossilized shark tooth!
It was a beautiful day at the beach. The weather was perfect! The water was 80 degrees, which is just a bit too cold for me, so I spent my time reading and playing with Luke while Brian was in the water. Earlier in the week the sea surface temp. was 84 degrees. Of course it had to drop when we decide to go. Oh well, it was a great day nonetheless. :)
